Turistas
This movie isn't bad. It is just slow and predictable. And also xenophobic and insulting.
Some Americans go to Brazil. They get chased around by some people who want to steal their organs.
Certainly, this film wouldn't have came out or gotten as much of a push if it wasn't for Hostel. While it may be just as offensive it isn't half as entertaining as Hostel. Nor is it half as exciting. The movie is really slow. It seems to take it's time and think that showing half naked women is enough. While it probably should be the fact that we know that bad things are going to happen to them so it all comes off as a waiting game. Get on with it already!
Once they get captured and start to escape continuity goes to hell. There's this woman who just keeps appearing and disappearing. She's in one scene then in the next she's no where to be seen. There are whole stretches where they are escaping through the jungle and underwater caves where she isn't on camera and then all of a sudden there she it. I even backed up at one point to make sure that I didn't miss something.
